Mission Vision Eye Care Event

We have some exciting news! For one day only, Mission Vision is coming to visit us in their Mobile Clinic. Wednesday, October, 25, 2023. They will be here from 9am-1:30 pm. We can see one patient every 15 minutes. We can accept ONLY 40 patients and you MUST be registered in advance. 

This a great opportunity for any adult of child who is in need of an exam or glasses. The exam and glasses are free, no insurance required. Please call 724-228-0770 to sign up. Having healthy eyes is our number one focus!

About Mission Vision

Mission Vision treats patients of all different ages, both young and old, who come from low income or disadvantaged communities. We often work with the homeless, elderly, unemployed, veterans, and school aged children who otherwise would not have access to eye exams and treatments.

The exams are designed to both provide for an eyewear prescription, while screening for ocular eye diseases. They screen for Macular Degeneration, Color Blindness, Astigmatism, Glaucoma, etc.

Mission Vision got its start 30 years ago when a few doctors founded a mission’s hospital in Ghana.  This led to an organization that serves thousands of patients in need both globally and in our local communities.

Mission Vision’s mobile clinics continue to provide free eye exams, glaucoma screenings and prescription glasses to some 2,000 people annually.

Contracted and volunteer licensed optometrists and opticians, and ophthalmic and optometric technicians staff the clinics.
